This 7 days tour is includes trekking in one of Iceland’s most beautiful and popular surroundings with its multicoloured mountains and amazing scenery. With a visit to the South Coast enjoying the entirety of special places such as: Seljalandsfoss, Vík, Dyrholaey, Reynisdranga, Skaftafell, Jokulsarlon and much more.
1.Day : Bologna – Reykjavik.
Arrive in Iceland in the evening and transferred to your Hotel in Reykjavik.2.Day : Reykjavik – Þórsmörk.
Breakfast in the Hotel. On our way to Þórsmörk we visit the National Park at Thingvellir, Geysir and the famous waterfall Gullfoss. We arrive in Thorsmork in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation in a Shelter.3 – 5.Day : Trekking Þórsmörk – Landmannalaugar.
The trekking in total is about 55 km it is in 3 different steps of difficulty the first one is 20 km the second one is 16 km and the third one is 19 km. The trek is through the highland of Iceland’s untouched and colourful nature. Truly one of the most spectacular trekking trails in the world. The trekking trail itself is runs through the eruption area 2010 Eyjafjallajokull.6.Day : The glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón
From Landmannalaugar in a 4×4 we head off in a south-easterly direction to the village Kirkjubæjarklaustur onto the National Park in Skaftafell. After exploring the park we will visit the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón in the roots of Europe’s biggest glacier Vatnajökull. The night is spent in a Guesthouse or a Chalet.7.Day : Vík
An early start in the direction of the small village of Vik with only 280 inhabitants, with the special black basalt columns and black sand beaches. Visit to the peninsula Dyrholaey home of many birds the waterfalls of Skógarfoss and Seljalandsfoss. We arrive in Reykjavík in the evening. The night is spent in Reykjavík.
8.Day : Reykjavík – Bologna
The morning is dedicated to the city, in the afternoon a transfer to the airport for your departure.
